    Before Exercise.

     
     
     
  • Sometimes you just don't feel like starting.

     

    You know you will feel amazing on finishing,

    and never have you wished you didn't exercise 30 minutes after you've finished!

     

    Go!

  • The motivation for action!

     

    We know music works! We know brain heightening aroma's work! We know moving works! And light (ideally the sun) works!

     

    So,

     

    Step 1 - While standing, open a bottle of peppermint essential oil (this Aussie brand is the bomb), take three slow deep breaths with your eyes shut.

     

    Step 2 - Dial in your favourite tunes - whatever gets your feet moving!  And tune up the volume.  Ideally, a rhythmic backbeat is best.  Our brains respond best to a beat - e.g. a baby and mum's heartbeat.  Now is not the time for soppy sad love songs!

     

    Step 3 - Skip on the spot.  Now, you don't need a rope and you don't even need to have your feet leave the surface.  Think boxer just before a fight!

     

    Step 4 - Ideally, momentarily look directly into the sun - without your sunglasses.  Or, watch some psychedelic montage for 20  seconds.  Bright colour heightens the brain for action.
