The 5 am Club
What my fellow nutbags gain over exercising at other times of the day, or not at all, is listed below in the 5 am Club return for investment.
1. A super spike of mind-boosting serotonin - setting up the limitless focussed mind for the day.
2. Regulates optimum body temperature for the day - modulating for hotter & colder conditions.
3. Primes stored fat as the key fuel source for the day - fat-burning flexibility.
4. Regulates the appetite for the day - rarely is food behaviour drawn towards poor choices.
5. Tunes in a super kick of melatonin around 9.30 - 10 pm - ensuring nutritious 5-phase sleep.

my 4 key learnings from the 'Ashwagandha' trial.
The Ayurvedic herb ashwagandha is referred to as the king of herbs. It is best known for lowering anxiety and stress.
More research is required to validate these effects, but it may also slightly improve different elements of athletic performance, raise testosterone levels, and improve reproductive health.Righto, in daily tablet form, let's give it a crack for a month.
My response,
🪴 Calmness - definitely an increased calmness and confidence.
🪴 Blood Sugar - my CGM blood glucose shows a lower BG average for the week.
🪴 Testosterone - same.
🪴 Focus - if a morning double shot boosts my 7 am -11 am mind sharpness by 30%, together with (2 capsules) ashwagandha, it felt like I received a further 20% focus booster.
Summary: While a subtle and healthy return, I don't feel I received enough to continue the practice. However, if you want to lower your anxiety, you should give this a shot.
