This is where the model becomes practical: questionnaire, DTI, program delivery, tracking, feedback, adjustment and the next training block.
The system only works when it is applied.
The BP40+ Running Model brings together philosophy, intensity, technique, testing and trouble shooting — then turns it into a practical training block you can follow, record and review.
From Model To Method
Parts 1–5 explain how I think about running: train for health, build the aerobic engine, improve economy, measure progress and adjust when life punches you in the face.
Part 6 is the practical application. You complete the starting steps, I build the program, you track the block, then we repeat the process.
How The Coaching Process Works
Initial Contact
After initial contact, I’ll forward your starting questionnaire so I can understand your current running, health, goals and training history.
Return Your DTI Number
You’ll calculate and return your DTI number. This becomes the key training ceiling for your early program structure.
Program Delivery
I’ll email your program and notify you via text once it has been sent. From there, your training block begins.
Use The Microapp
Enjoy your program and use the microapp-style autosave page to record your progress as you go.
Save, PDF & Email
At the end of the block, save or PDF your completed training page and email it back to me for review.
Text Me Before The Next Block
On the Friday of your final week, text your initials and block count: for example BP4/4. This tells me you’ll need your next training block.
What You Need To Do
Keep the process simple. Train smartly, record honestly, and communicate early if something feels off.
Your Job
- Complete the starting questionnaire honestly.
- Return your DTI number.
- Follow the program as closely as practical.
- Record your progress in the microapp.
- Save/PDF and email the completed block.
My Job
- Review your starting information.
- Build your training block around your current capacity.
- Email your program and notify you by text.
- Adjust future training based on your completed block.
- Remain available for concerns or questions.
Communication
- For training concerns — email, text or call.
- If illness, injury or stress shows up, contact me early.
- Do not wait until the wheels fall off.
- The program is adjustable — that’s the point.
Admin
- I typically invoice within the month.
- Don’t stress if invoice timing varies.
- I usually invoice clients on the same day.
- The focus is training well first.
